How we work, in plain terms.

Price and date
Every engagement is quoted at a fixed price with a fixed delivery date, agreed in writing before any work starts. If the build takes longer than we estimated, that is ours to absorb — the price does not move.
Larger systems are split into stages. Each stage carries its own fixed price and its own date, so scope grows only in steps you agreed to.
Scope
Every proposal states what is in scope, what is explicitly out of scope, the definition of done, two rounds of revisions, and the price of a change request. If something is not in the proposal, it is not in the build, and we will quote it separately rather than absorb it quietly.
Ownership
You own everything we build — code, workflows, accounts and credentials — entirely, from day one. At handover you receive a written runbook and a recorded walkthrough. Another developer could pick the work up from those documents.
Payment
The Automation Roadmap is $1,200, payable up front, and is credited in full against a Sprint started within 60 days. Sprints are invoiced half at the start and half at handover. Retainers are billed monthly, with a six-month minimum, cancellable after that with 30 days’ notice.
Support
Support hours overlap US, UK and EU business hours. We reply to everything within one business day. What a retainer covers — monitoring, maintenance and one change a month — is set out in that proposal.
Confidentiality
We do not sign formal NDAs, and we say so before anyone asks. We build with AI tools, so some project content passes through third-party AI providers during development, and an NDA would promise a standard our process does not meet.
What we commit to instead, in writing: we never disclose that we work with you, never discuss your business outside the project, and never share your documents or data beyond what the build requires. See Privacy for the detail.
Work we decline
We turn down projects that need a second technology stack, that require replacing software you already pay for, or that would be priced by the hour. If a project is scoped wrong, we say so rather than take it.
